| Kathy Corsetty, a wife and mother of a two-year-old son, is a motivational speaker, workshop leader, and developer of the Healthy Habits program.
A former Dale Carnegie instructor, Corsetty has helped hundreds of people improve their outlook, self-confidence, and public speaking ability. Healthy Habits is the culmination of her 15 years of study and practice in the health and image industries.
After unsuccessfully trying one diet after another, she ultimately dropped from a size 16 to a size 6 and, other than her pregnancy, has maintained the 40-pound weight loss by applying the Healthy Habits principles she teaches in her program.
Since 1991, Corsetty has been a certified Neuro-Linguistic Programming practitioner. She has a B. S. in Journalism from the University of Maryland and has written more than 300 newspaper articles.

Judith E. Pearson, Ph.D. holds a doctorate in Counseling, from Catholic University (1983). She has been a licensed psychotherapist since 1980 and has maintained a successful counseling and consulting practice for over ten years. Her professional background is in social work, psychology, and mental health, as well as business management and training. She is a Certified Master Clinical Hypnotherapist and Executive Director for Certification of the National Board for Certified Clinical
Hypnotherapists.
In 1992, she became a Master Practitioner and Certified Trainer of NLP, and joined the American Hypnosis Training Academy and the Midlantic Institute of NLP of Silver Spring, Maryland, as an associate trainer. She is a member of Toastmasters International where she has held numerous leadership positions, won speaking championships, and earned the title of Distinguished Toastmaster.
She makes frequent speaking appearances and often appears on local radio and television shows in Northern Virginia. She recently filmed an interview for a documentary on alternative medicine carried on the PBS Wisdom Channel.
She has published over 40 articles and book reviews on counseling, psychology, and NLP.
